When a Handjob won’t do and picking up a STD is out of the question, it’s time to take another look at the G-Spot. For 2010, Cove completely redesigned the venerable G-Spot from the loam up.

The biggest change for the G-Spot is the suspension design. Gone is the rocker arm linkage with pivots on the seat stays and around the bottom bracket, in favour of the same floating pivot point suspension design as its big brother, the Shocker. So, how does this new version of a Shore classic ride? Good question… (more…)

Hardcore Tea Party

I thought I would post this image as frankly it amuses me!

We had been out for a official 1st ride of spring on the DH trails and I had just loaded up the Landy with the Shocker. CJ popped to the National Trust café and produced a tray of tea and sausage sandwiches! Nice.

Hardcore baby, hardcore. We got a few laughs that’s for sure.

Hardcore Tea Party

Note the usefulness of a Land Rover pick up with a 2″ lift. The rear door is perfect tea table height. How VERY English.

Cove 2010 Sneak-Peek

A little Internet love from inside the Cove bike’s camp to kindle some passion for the peeps at home…

Chaz over at Cove Bikes recently sent through some spy shots of the new 2010 Cove Bikes, so here’s a sneak peak for you guys.

Foreplay – Why go straight home?

Handjob – Making something so simple so much fun is all in the details

A quick “backseat” shot of the Ti Hummer! Fast, agile, and feels so good!

The Sanchez. The old Philly Flyers colors look rather appropriate for flying, flipping out, dropping the mitts, and getting dirty!

G Spot – Still tough to find, but fun to ride if you can. So, because you really only need 6” to find pure bliss in that sweet spot between too much and never enough on a really good ride, we totally redesigned our flagship toy to get you there. But you’ll have to check back in Vegas to find better shots of this G Spot…

STD – The only STD that’s more fun after you get it than while you get it

Shocker – Bike of the year in basically every magazine that’s ever reviewed it is now available in the Gold Standard color way it deserves! And rumor has it… lighter for 2010!

The Hooker – smooth, sexy, and always ready to turn tricks. (It’s also ideal for doing hot laps up and down the XXXX track). This little hussy is getting lots of looks and creating quite a stir on various websites.

A kid in the candy store – Eric Lawrenuk gets his sweet new prize. Hey, qualify for the Crankworx Slopestyle in Whistler and you too can get the goods a month before they’re available.

Chazzy still quietly directing the shots from the Cove camp in heart of the shore, as he’s done since 1981!
The 2010 Cove Bike’s line up has minor visual tweaks, but the big news will be the new G-Spot, so stay tuned for pics and details from Interbike 2009!

Meet the Shocker

“First introduced in 2006, the Shocker is Cove’s fresh-from-the-factory DH bike. Designed and built for major speed and amplitude, the Shocker features our new Dual Link suspension platform, delivering a mega 8.75 watts of rear travel. A SRAM Maxle rear axle and Easton RAD tubing bring it for a super stiff ride that takes corners and rails them. Tested and proven by Canadian National DH Champ Tyler Morland, the Shocker is love Cove Tribe style.”
