We believe that the best way to get to know the bike you are about to make a long term investment in is to swing your leg over and get a feel for it – Not look at a frame hanging on a wall.

Transition Covert Custom demo bikeTransition TR250 demo bikes

Even if you only need the frame or decide on something else in the range, having the ability to jump on and size up a fully built bike is going to make your decision easier.

So, what have you got?

In the near future we intend to build up the biggest dedicated fleet of Transition Bikes to demo in the country, giving you the best possible chance to get it right first time, every time.

We are starting out with the following bikes:

  • Transition TR250 in medium
  • Transition Covert in medium

Just in time for the 2012 summer season we will have:

Even if these aren’t the perfect size for you, by being able to get a feel for them you should be on your way to getting the bike you want and in the all important correct size for you. It is subjective after all.

How do i get on one?

We ask that you give us a call to arrange a visit before you pop over as we don’t run a traditional high street shop. We aim to do things a bit different from our base at the bottom of private woodland set in 700 acres of estate land with one of the highest elevations in the south of England. This gives us an ideal test ground right from the doorstep.
We are also more than happy to meet you around some of the more Downhill and Freeride oriented local spots to better test out the capabilities of the bigger bikes. Call us and we can find a venue that suits.

Is it free?

Yes it is, in the end… if (or should that be when?) you buy one we will make sure you get the demo price off of your bill!Until you decide to make the leap it’s £30 for a local demo ride. (Paid before you arrive by PayPal or cash on the day.)

Why? Well, for a couple of reasons. Firstly it stops “test pilots” from wrecking our bikes so that when you come along you don’t get the A+ experience. Secondly, as I am sure you can appreciate (if you are thinking of buying one), these are expensive bikes and we have to buy and maintain them, refreshing them on a regular basis with new models and smart new paint jobs. This all adds up.

We will also ask you for some credit or debit card details before you leave, just for a bit of security.

Can i take it away to demo?

No, we prefer you keep it local and within a few hours. These aren’t hire bikes!

Can you show me around so I get the most from my ride?

Hell yes! Any excuse (although you’ll probably be waiting for me at the top). We have some sneaky trails we might show you too if you’re very nice.

Will you be responsible for me on my demo ride?

Um, no. We ask you sign a simple responsibility waiver before you head off. We can’t be responsible for what you do with yourself in the heat of the ride!
